Emma Ackerman | Actor

Emma holds a B.A. from Gettysburg College and an M.A. from the University of Chichester. A recent transplant from Pennsylvania, she spent 15 years working at Touchstone Theatre, a small professional ensemble theatre in Bethlehem, PA, where her work included stage management, production management, design, performance, admin, and arts education. Local work includes performing in last year's Night Terrors, as well as Amelia's Big Idea with Miner's Alley Playhouse and stage managing A Chorus Line with Phamaly Theatre. www.emmaackerman.com

 
 

Zoe Flack | Actor

Zoe is excited to be a part of such a unique and creative experience. Past roles include Smee (Peter and the Starcatcher), Ophelia (Hamlet), Flo (Picnic), and The Princess (Love’s Labour’s Lost). Off the stage Zoe enjoys hiking, reading books with her two children, and trying new recipes. She would like to thank her husband and family for all of their love and support.

 
 

Alex Marusich | Actor

Alex (they/them) is thrilled to be a part of Night Terrors. Previous work includes Knight of the Burning Pestle (Citizen), Imaginary Audiences (Pear), and Dr Voynich and Her Children (Fade). This is their first show post undergrad.

 
 

Megan Dille | Designer

(She/her) Megan Dille is an emerging theatrical producer with a passion for storytelling through experimental, found-space, and immersive means. Megan earned a B.A. in theater studies from the University of Northern Colorado where she led many student productions and independently produced projects. Previous work includes: costume design for Shellee Schwartz’s “Hecuba,” director of “Information for Foreigners,” and director of “Venus in Fur.” At UNC, she served as Producing Artistic Director of Shenanigans Pop-Up Troupe from 2022-2024. Megan is thrilled to work with Searcher Collective and continue creating experimental entertainment.

 
 
 

Nicholas Izzo | Actor

Upon moving back to Tucson en route to L.A. he got his first lead role in a medium length film Date of the Dead which has now been turned into a feature length film.  He also met an amazing acting coach who advised him to go to Atlanta as opposed to LA and so with everything he could fit in his SUV he headed south.  Within months he got his first role in a paid independent feature, Patient.  He also acquired his first agent and booked his first Co-Star role on Drop Dead Diva making him eligible for SAG-AFTRA. Most recently he worked with the same team from Patient in the Atlanta 48-hour film festival on a film called Re Inc for which he was nominated for Best Actor out of over 80 films.  In his spare time, Izzo plays piano, soccer, guitar and likes to be outdoors in any capacity including rock climbing.

 
 
 

Christine Bowden | Stage Manager

Christine Bowden is a nationally-recognized dance choreographer and performer coming from an extensive background in dance and theatre. She made her professional debut with BGSU Dance Co. and went on to MFA with SHSU. She currently studies professionally under Steve Austin as an indigenous actor and is grateful to be a part of Searcher Collective.

 
 
 

Thomas Jancis | Writer

Thomas Jancis is a writer and performer working mostly in interactive and Thomas Jancis is a writer and performer working mostly in interactive and immersive theatre. He has performed with ‘Parabolic Theatre’, written for ‘Immercity’ and was nominated for a Total Theatre award for Innovation with the relational theatre group ‘The Butlers’ in 2012. He is a cast member of the online RPG group ‘Roll Together’ and was one of the hosts of their chat show ‘Talk Together’ and the puzzle dungeon 'Talking is a Free Action'. He collaborated with Trajectory Theatre on ‘Circus in A Bottle’, a live performance presented using augmented reality telling stories of the last 250 years of British Circus Most recently, his spy drama comedy 'Tamám Shud' had a sold out run as part of 'A Play, A Pie and A Pint' in Glasgow. Thomas is excited to work with Searcher Collective again after his previous piece "Bluebeard" was performed last year.

 
 

Tierra Izzo | Director

Tierra is a deviser/performer, director, and entrepreneur. She trained as a performer at Emerson College, Boston, MA. Her dramaturgy credits include: The Golden Age (Emerson Stage), Much Ado About Nothing (Jobsite Theatre), Darling: a new musical (Rareworks), Rossum’s Universal Robots (Emerson College), and assisting on Cafe Variations (SITI Company). She graduated with an MA in Advanced Theatre Practice (with distinction) from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in London (2014/15) where she devised and created Risen by Leveluvwu (BAC Hourglass Scratch), Here We Come Together, Here We Fall Apart (Subsublime, Sprint Festival, Camden People’s Theatre), Cumulus (Prague Quadrennial Festival of Space & Design), Performance A: CAGE (Imp Fest, Hornsey Town Hall), No.1 (Rag Factory), Performance B: Bespoken Moments (More Storm Festival, Middlesex University), and When You Were Born A Storm Rolled In (Saturday Live, Bank Street Arts). She continues to pursue the experimental performance practice live-construction.
